As the owner of esteemed restaurants such as Highlands Bar and Grill and Chez Fonfon, Stitt has garnered national recognition for his commitment to local ingredients and his innovative approach to Southern culinary traditions, earning multiple James Beard Awards throughout his career. His work has earned him numerous additional accolades establishing him as a pioneering figure in modern American gastronomy.
